Campus placement HR round questions and answers (India)
Campus placement HR round questions check your communication, attitude, honesty and willingness to relocate or sign terms such as service agreements. The round is usually short, so aim for clear, truthful answers of about a minute each. Prepare an introduction, two stories and thoughtful questions, and read the offer terms carefully before accepting.
At a glance
- Keep each answer to about a minute.

- Read bond or agreement terms before accepting.
What should you know about the role before the interview?
Placement process steps differ by college and company, often an aptitude test, a group discussion, technical rounds and an HR round. Keep copies of your documents and, as the National Career Service portal states, do not pay any fees to an employer for a job. The National Career Service portal, run by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, states that its services are free of cost and that job seekers should not pay fees to employers (NCS, accessed 31 October 2026). Treat any request for money before an interview or offer as a warning sign.
