What verification badges will employers see?
Employers can see small verification badges for the checks you have completed: ID verified, Self-verified and Background checked. They see that a check was passed, not your ID images; LiveRec keeps the result, never your ID images. Badges appear on your profile once each check is complete.
Steps
- Open Account settings and choose the Verification tab.
- For ID verified, choose Verify your ID. For Self-verified, choose Start verification and complete the questionnaire and documents. A background check is ordered by an employer with your consent.
Good to know
- No badge is shown for a check you have not done.
- ID verified means you proved who you are with a government ID and a selfie. Self-verified means LiveRec reviewed your answers and documents.
The three badges

| Self-verified | Start verification, complete the questionnaire and documents | LiveRec reviewed your answers and documents |
| Background checked | An employer orders a check, with your consent | A background check was completed |
