What is self-verification?
Self-verification is a short questionnaire plus supporting documents that confirm your work history and qualifications. Identity verification confirms who you are. They are separate, you can do both, and each adds its own mark to your profile. You can start with whichever one suits you.
Steps
- Open Account settings and the Verification tab.
- Open the Self-declared questionnaire, answer every question, tick the declaration and choose Save & continue.
- On step 2, upload the documents requested, such as a certificate or a letter from a past employer, then choose Submit for review.
- Wait for review. The status shows as Under review, and you will see the result on this page.
Good to know
- Under review means a person on our team is checking your answers and documents. Your answers are locked while that happens, and there is nothing you need to do. A pending review does not stop you from applying.
- Once approved, a Self-verified mark appears on your profile.
