How do I verify my identity?

To verify your identity, LiveRec checks a photo ID and a selfie so employers can see you are who you say. Go to Account settings, open the Verification tab and choose Verify your ID. One verification works for every employer you apply to.

Steps

  1. Open Account settings and choose the Verification tab.
  2. At the top, choose Verify your ID, then pick the country where your ID was issued and choose Continue to secure page.
  3. On the secure page of our identity partner, photograph an accepted document (passport, driver's license or national ID card) and take a selfie.
  4. Wait for the result. If a person must review it, we tell you on the Verification tab. If it did not work, choose Try again.

Good to know

  • Indian IDs go to a manual review (Ask for a manual review) for now, because the automated check for India is not connected yet. A LiveRec specialist reviews the request.
  • LiveRec keeps the result and date, never your ID images or selfie.
  • Your plan includes a number of ID checks each month. When they are used up you can buy an extra check or send the request to manual review.
