What is a Live Recruiter, and how do I join LiveRec?

LiveRec EditorialUpdated

A Live Recruiter is a recruiter or agency that uses LiveRec to find candidates, manage client companies and place people with them. To join, you sign up at the Live Recruiter page, verify your email, complete an application that LiveRec reviews, choose a plan and set up two-step sign-in. Pricing appears only after you sign up.

Steps

  1. Open the Live Recruiter page and choose Become a live recruiter (or Get Started).
  2. Enter your email, or continue with Google or Microsoft if offered. Create your account.
  3. Open the verification email and confirm your address. If you have not applied yet, the application status page offers Start your application.
  4. Choose a plan. LiveRec does not publish recruiter prices on the public site; they are shown at the end of sign-up. See Live Recruiter plan price.
  5. Set up two-step sign-in. It is required for recruiter accounts. LiveRec shows the Set up your authenticator app screen: scan the code with an authenticator app, enter the 6-digit code and choose Turn on, then save your recovery codes. Later, open the account menu, Account settings, then the Security tab to see your status, Generate recovery codes or Turn off two-factor authentication (you are asked to set it up again at your next sign-in). The recruiter portal has no list of signed-in devices or sessions.

Edge cases

  • Recruiters pay LiveRec for a plan. A Live Recruiter does not earn money through LiveRec, and LiveRec does not take a share of your fee from clients.
  • Sign-in methods are Google, Microsoft or email and password. If you cannot sign in, see Get help as a recruiter.
