My recruiter registration is pending. How does agency verification work?

LiveRec EditorialUpdated

After you file a Live Recruiter application, agency verification starts and the Registration status page shows "In review". A person on our team checks every new recruiter account, then emails the primary contact with the decision. You do not need to send anything else while it is in review. LiveRec does not publish a review time.

What are the three outcomes?

Status shownWhat it meansWhat to do
In reviewWe received the application for your legal name and are checking it.Nothing. Use Back to Live Recruiter and wait for the email.
Not approvedThe page shows a Why note with the reviewer's reason.Fix what is listed, then choose Update and resubmit. Your earlier answers are kept.
ApprovedYour agency account is set up and your seat is active.Choose Continue setting up your agency, then add clients and post jobs.

If no reason was left, the page says to reply to the email we sent you.

What does the application ask for?

You choose A recruitment company or An individual live recruiter. A company enters company name, website, tag line, industry, founding year, size, type, a description and its Employer Identification Number (EIN). Everyone enters full name, email and phone. The registration receipt shows only the last four digits of the EIN.

What if the page says "You have not applied yet"?

Choose Start your application. If you are already an active member of an agency's team, the page says "You are already on a team" and sends you to the dashboard. There is nothing for you to file.

Is the Verified mark the same thing?

No. Approval lets you use the portal. The Verified mark on your agency is a separate check by a LiveRec admin. Open your agency profile, and a team manager can choose Request verification. The page then says an admin reviews it, and the mark appears once approved. The mark is never self-declared.
