How do I report a problem on LiveRec?
You can report a problem with a job, an employer, or a review of a recruiter from the product. For everything else, such as a message, a candidate or a company review, open a support ticket. A person on our team reads every report.
What can I report in the product?
| What | Where | Who can |
|---|---|---|
| A job | Report job at the foot of the job posting | Job seekers |
| An employer | Report employer on the company page | Job seekers who are signed in. Signed-out visitors get a link to sign in and return |
| A review of a recruiter | Report beside the review on a recruiter's reviews | Employers viewing those reviews |
For a job or employer, pick a reason: Fake job, Asks me for money, Impersonating a company or person, Misleading or inaccurate, Discriminatory, Offensive content, or Other. For a job you can also pick Duplicate posting or Job is no longer available. Add an optional note of up to 2,000 characters, then submit. The report is private: the employer is not told who reported them.
If it is a possible scam, read Report a fake job or employer first, and do not send money.
Can I take a report back?
No. A report is a statement made at one moment, so there is no edit or delete. Reporting the same job twice does not create a second report; you see the same confirmation. A moderator can change the status on our side.
What if there is no Report button?
LiveRec has no Report button today for messages, candidates, or employer reviews. Open a ticket from Help & support, say what you saw, where (the job title, company or conversation) and when. Do not include passwords or payment details. If you cannot sign in, use the contact page on the public site. There is no phone support.
If you are in danger or lost money
LiveRec is not an emergency service. Contact local emergency services if someone is at risk. For a scam where you have lost money, contact your bank or card issuer straight away and report it to the authorities in your country. In the US, use reportfraud.ftc.gov. In India, call 1930 or use cybercrime.gov.in.
