Can I switch between employer and job seeker on one account?
The employer account menu (under your name) has no switch between employer and job seeker. A LiveRec account is either a hiring seat or a job seeker, so your own job search needs its own account and email. Your job search then stays private and your company colleagues never see it.
Steps
- To look for work yourself, sign out of your employer seat.
- Create a job seeker account with a different email address.
- Use the employer seat only for your company's hiring.
Good to know
- Seeker features follow the seeker plan, and employer features follow the company plan. They are billed separately.
Why two accounts
A LiveRec account is either a hiring seat or a job seeker. Keeping them apart protects both sides: your own job search stays private and your colleagues never see it, and your company's hiring data stays in the company seat.
Which account does what
| Employer seat | Job seeker account | |
|---|---|---|
| Used for | Your company's hiring | Your own job search |
| Your work address | A different address | |
| Plan | Company plan | Seeker plan |
| Billing | Separate | Separate |
Common questions
Can I use the same email for both? No. Use a different email address for the job seeker account. If it says your email is already registered, see what if my email is already registered.
Will my colleagues see my job search? No, as long as you keep it on the separate seeker account.
