Is LiveRec safe? These are the controls. LiveRec protects accounts with required two-step verification for employers and recruiters, keeps each company's data separate, limits who can see verification documents, and asks for consent before recording interviews. This page lists only controls we can point to in the product.

Accounts and access

  • Two-step verification is mandatory for employer and recruiter accounts, using an authenticator app plus ten single-use recovery codes.
  • Employers choose who joins and their role; removing someone ends access at once. A team activity log and a list of active sessions are available.
  • Access rules are enforced in the database itself: unpublished jobs, applications and pipelines are visible to your team, not other companies.

Documents and uploads

  • Identity verification: LiveRec keeps the result and date, not your ID images or selfie. Verification documents are limited to named staff roles.
  • Immigration documents are shared only with people working the case.

Interviews and AI

  • Interviews are recorded and summarised only if everyone consents. Declining stops the recording, not the interview. Recordings are deleted after 90 days by default; employers can choose longer retention.
  • If an AI interviewer is used, you are told beforehand. AI drafts; people decide.

Payments

Card numbers stay with our payment partners; LiveRec keeps the card type, last four digits and expiry.

Retention

Signed offers, contracts and client agreements are kept seven years from signing, then deleted automatically.

Report a security issue

Report a suspected security vulnerability to [email protected]. Include the page or feature, the steps to reproduce it and what you saw. Please do not access other people's data or disrupt the service while testing.
