How LiveRec charges: who pays what

LiveRec EditorialUpdated

LiveRec charges for plans and add-ons that job seekers, employers and Live Recruiters buy. Job seekers pay for a plan to apply. Employers and Live Recruiters pay for a plan and optional add-ons. Affiliates pay nothing. This page explains who pays for what. It shows no prices, because each person sees their own prices after sign-in.

Job seekers

  • Free: browsing and searching jobs, reading full job descriptions, building a profile and uploading a resume.
  • Paid: applying to jobs needs an active subscription to one of three plans: Basic, Essential or Professional, each monthly or annual. The plan sets how many applications you get and which tools you can use, such as AI resume tools or mock interviews.
  • Optional add-on: Express Interest, paid per job, marks you as a priority applicant on that one job.
  • What you never pay for: LiveRec does not charge a job seeker for an interview, an offer or a hire. If anyone asks you for money to get a job, treat it as a scam and report it.

Employers

  • Plan: a Standard or Professional plan, monthly or annual. It sets how many job listings can be live at once and how many sourcing credits you get each billing period. There is no per-post fee.
  • Add-ons: Live Sourcing Credits (one credit unlocks one candidate in Live sourcing, with an invitation to apply), listing boosts, interview recording, extra live jobs on Professional, background checks and immigration help. Some add-ons show a price to buy; others are quoted by our team before anything is charged.
  • Payroll: if you run payroll through LiveRec, you fund pay runs separately from your plan.

Live Recruiters and agencies

  • Plan: a Live Recruiter plan, monthly or annual, which includes job listings, credits and boosts.
  • Fees from clients: an agency's fee comes from its client company on terms they agree, and is paid outside LiveRec. LiveRec can record and track an invoice you send, but does not process that payment or take part of it.

Employers working with Live Recruiters

If you bring in a Live Recruiter or agency, you agree their fee with them and pay them outside LiveRec. LiveRec does not take a cut of that payment. You still pay your own LiveRec plan.

Affiliates

Joining the affiliate program is free. Affiliates earn a commission on the first payment of a person they refer, under the program terms, paid monthly after a hold. The person referred receives no discount. See How LiveRec works for affiliates.

How payment works

  • Plans and add-ons are billed in US dollars. Tax is shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Paying from India? You'll see the price in rupees (INR) at checkout and can pay by UPI, UPI AutoPay or an Indian card. The rupee amount includes a 2–4% currency conversion fee.
  • Card details go to our payment partner. LiveRec keeps the card type, last four digits and expiry.
  • Purchases are not refundable. The one exception is a duplicate purchase, which our team reviews. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund a payment. See the refund and cancellation policy.
