How do I change or reset my LiveRec password?

Signed in? To change or reset your LiveRec password, go to Settings > Profile > Change password (/settings/password), enter your current password and a new one. If you forgot your password, choose Forgot password on the sign-in page and we email you a verification code. If you signed in with Google or another provider, your password is managed by that provider.

Change your password while signed in

  1. Open Settings > Profile.
  2. Choose Change password.
  3. Enter your current password and a new password, then save.

Reset a forgotten password

  1. On the sign-in page choose Forgot password?.
  2. Enter your email and send the request.
  3. Open the email and copy the verification code.
  4. Enter the email, the Verification code, a New password and the same again under Confirm password, then choose Reset password.
  5. If you see "That code is invalid or has expired.", request a new code and try again.
  6. Sign in with the new password.

Good to know

  • We only send a code if the email matches an existing account, so check you typed the address you signed up with.
  • If you signed in with Google or another provider, your password is managed by that provider; use Continue with Google instead.
