How do recruiter screening questions and assessments work for client jobs?
As a recruiter, open Screening in the left-hand menu. The Screening questions tab is your agency's reusable library, and the Assessments tab holds skills tests. You attach them to a client's job from that job's own step, so one library serves every client you post for.
How do I add a screening question?
- On Screening, choose Add.
- Pick the question type (multiple choice, checkboxes, yes/no, number, short answer, date or time) and write the question.
- Choose LiveRec library or Browse the LiveRec library to start from ready-made questions.
- Turn on Knock-out question if a wrong answer should mark the applicant Knocked out. They can still apply.
Questions can be archived with Show archived questions to bring them back.
How do I add an assessment?
- Open the Assessments tab and choose Add an assessment.
- Name it, choose skills, a time limit and a pass mark, and add questions.
- When you post a job, the skill assessments step lets you create one or choose one you built.
Candidates take assessments after they apply. Results appear on the candidate's Screening tab.
What does AI screening do?
Open a client's job, then its AI screening page. The AI gives each candidate a fit percent with reasons and evidence, best first. It recommends and a person decides. It decides on its own only after the client's owner or admin has given consent, and the page says "It never decides without the client's consent." Consent can be given for one job or every job at the company, and can be turned off at any time.
Your seat needs the AI interview permission for that page. If it does not open, ask your agency owner or an admin.
