Review and shortlist candidates

LiveRec EditorialUpdated

Candidates lists applications across your jobs. Filter by Job, Screening result, Match score and Status, open a person to see their profile, resume and answers, and mark them Shortlist, Maybe or Reject. The Status filter has New, Shortlisted, Maybe, Interviewing, Offered, Hired and Closed.

Steps

  1. Open Candidates in the menu. Use the filters above the table: Job, Application type, Screening result, Match score and Status.
  2. On a row, choose Shortlist, Maybe or Reject. You can click the same button again to undo it.
  3. Select a candidate's name to open their page, with the profile, resume and answers.
  4. On the candidate page, choose Schedule interview, or use the stage button ("Stage: ...") to move them under "Move to". Choosing Offered opens the Job offer form, and sending the offer moves them to Offered.

What the statuses mean

  • New: applied, and you have not responded yet.
  • Shortlisted: you marked them as interesting.
  • Maybe: a marker on someone who has applied and is not yet decided. They appear in the Maybe filter.
  • Interviewing, Offered, Hired: the later stages.
  • Closed: Rejected (you ended it), Declined (they turned down your offer) or Withdrew (they left before an offer).

Good to know

  • The Match score filter offers Ideal (90 and up), Strong or better (65 and up) and Good or better (40 and up).
  • Select the score on a row to see "Why this match". The score weighs skills, experience, location and pay. It helps you prioritise and never accepts or rejects anyone.
  • ID verified means they proved who they are with a government ID and a selfie. Self-verified means LiveRec reviewed their answers and documents. Neither is a background check.
  • When a candidate applied to other jobs of yours, their page shows "Also applied to N other jobs of yours". You cannot see applications to other companies.
