How do affiliate training and the knowledge check work?

Open Training in the affiliate portal. It is a short set of lessons followed by a Knowledge check. You can start learning before you are approved: the portal says "You can learn now. Links and payouts open after approval and signing." Finishing the training is one of the steps that turns your links on.

Steps

  1. Open Training. The page points you to the next lesson ("Start with Lesson 1", then "Next up").
  2. Open a lesson. Some lessons have a video; the link opens in a new tab. Read or watch the lesson, then press Mark lesson complete.
  3. Later lessons stay locked until the ones before them are done.
  4. When every lesson is done, the Knowledge check opens. Before then it says "The knowledge check opens once every lesson is done."
  5. Answer each question (use Previous to go back) and submit. LiveRec scores your submitted answers.
  6. The result screen shows your score, the pass mark, the attempt number out of the maximum, how many attempts remain and your account status.

If you pass or do not pass

  • Pass: "You passed" and, when nothing else is outstanding, "Your training is complete and your account is active."
  • If you passed but a lesson is still outstanding, finish it and your account activates then.
  • No pass: the page says "Review the lessons before trying again." Use Try again while attempts remain. When none remain, the page shows "No attempts remain" and what to do next.
  • After you pass, you can review your answers from that attempt; for older attempts only the correct answers are shown.

Edge cases

  • While training is unfinished, Links shows "Links unlock when your training is done." Your account status reads Training in progress.
  • You still need approval and a signed agreement for links to work. See application status and the agreement.
  • If the quiz does not load, the page says nothing was lost. Reload, and if it keeps failing open Help & support, then Ask Livebot.
