Offer acceptance letter format in India (with email samples)
In India, the usual offer acceptance letter format is to sign and return the offer letter, then confirm by email. Check CTC components, joining date, probation, notice period and location before you sign. Keep the tone short and positive, and resign from your current job only after the offer is firm.
At a glance
- Read the offer completely, including annexures.
- Confirm CTC breakup, fixed and variable parts.
- Check the joining date against your notice.
- Ask about background verification and documents.
- Resign after the offer is final.
