How do I add certificates, projects or publications?
Certificates have their own page under Account settings, Profile, Certificates. Projects, key achievements, and publications, talks and awards are three optional sections on one page, Account settings, Résumé. All four are optional and each entry can be edited or removed.
Certificates and licenses
Open Account settings, Profile, then Certificates, and fill in Add a certificate or license:
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Name | Required, for example the name of the certification |
| Issuing organization | Suggestions appear as you type, but you can enter one that is not listed |
| Issue date | Optional |
| Expiry date | Optional; tick This credential does not expire, and the entry shows Does not expire |
Choose Add certificate to save. You can edit or Remove an entry later. The page notes that credential type, credential ID, credential URL and file uploads are not stored yet, so keep your proof ready to show a recruiter on request.
Projects, key achievements, and publications
Open Account settings, then Résumé. The page explains each section and says on which résumé layouts it appears.
- Projects (open by default; suggested for students and early-career). Add things you built: a capstone or internship project, open-source work, a hackathon entry or a side project. Fields are Project name, Your role, Link, Start, End, What you built and the result, and Tech used. Lead with the result.
- Key achievements (optional; was called Highlights). Your three or four strongest measurable results, each a Result such as a percentage or amount and What it measured. This section is printed as a band near the top of the Executive résumé layout only. On other layouts, put those numbers in your experience bullets. There is a limit on how many you can keep; if you reach it, remove one to add another.
- Publications, talks & awards (optional). Papers, talks, awards, teaching and volunteering. Fields are Type, Title, Where it appeared, Date, Link, Citation and Notes. Most useful for MS or PhD graduates and research roles.
A section that already has entries stays open, so nothing is hidden behind a collapsed heading.
Where did the old pages go?
Highlights, Projects and Publications used to be three separate tabs. The old addresses now forward to the matching section on the Résumé page. Nothing you entered was moved or deleted.
