Which notification settings can I change?
Open Account settings and choose the Notifications tab to switch each type on or off: Application status updates, Background check results, Interview invitations, Job recommendations, Messages from recruiters, Saved job reminders and Saved search alerts. Each switch covers both in-app notifications and email. Security, verification, password-reset, receipt and invoice messages are always sent.
Steps
- Open Account settings, Notifications tab.
- Use the switch beside each type to turn it on or off.
- Use the bell in the top bar to read your in-app notifications.
Good to know
- Requests that need you to act on a background check are always sent.
- Messages about an interview you are part of, an offer or payroll are sent whatever the switches say.
- The "Send read receipts" switch at the foot of the tab controls whether read receipts show in Messages.
- Promotional email carries an unsubscribe link in the message.
