How do I sign an offer letter electronically?
To sign an offer letter electronically, choose Accept and sign on the offer, read the document on the Review and sign your offer page, then sign by typing or drawing your full name exactly as on your LiveRec profile. LiveRec records the date and time, your IP address, your device and, if you allow it, your location.
Once the employer countersigns you can download the signed PDF, which carries both signatures and the audit trail.
Steps
- Open the offer and choose Accept and sign. This opens the Review and sign your offer page.
- Read the document, then under Sign this offer pick Type or Draw and enter your full name.
- Choose Sign offer. The employer countersigns next, and you are notified when the signed PDF is ready.
- Choose Download signed PDF once both parties have signed. To refuse instead, choose Decline to sign.
Good to know
- Signed offers are kept seven years from signing, then deleted automatically.
- If the document changed after you opened it, reload and review again.
