What does it mean when a recruiter posted a job?

LiveRec EditorialUpdated

A recruiter-posted job is listed by a LiveRec Live Recruiter working for a hiring company, and carries a "Live Recruiter curated" badge to say so. The recruiter agency's name stays hidden. You apply the same way as for any other job. A recruiter who posted the job sees your application and profile the way an employer does.

Steps

  1. Open the job from the search results or its detail page and look for the "Live Recruiter curated" badge (a job marked "Urgent hiring" shows a different badge).
  2. Apply as usual. Applying needs a plan that includes applications; free accounts cannot apply.

Common questions

Do I pay the recruiter? Nobody should ask you for money to apply or be placed. Fees between a recruiter and a client are agreed outside LiveRec. If you are asked to pay, report the job. See report a fake job.

Can I apply without a plan? No. Free accounts cannot apply to any job, recruiter-posted or not.

What does the recruiter see? The recruiter who posted the job sees your application and profile the way an employer does. See who can see your profile.
