How do company pages, reviews and questions work?

LiveRec EditorialUpdated

Company pages and reviews collect what a company publishes about itself and what job seekers say about it. Each page has tabs for Overview, Reviews, Jobs, Benefits and Photos, plus a Q&A section. You can write one review per company once an application there has reached interview, offer or hire, and you can ask a question at any time.

What is on the page?

TabWhat it shows
OverviewAbout the company. If none is written it says the company has not added a description yet
ReviewsPublished reviews, the average rating and a rating breakdown
JobsThe company's open jobs, which you can save from the list
BenefitsBenefits the company chose to list
PhotosPhotos the company added
Q&AQuestions from job seekers and answers

Who can write a review?

You can review a company once one of your applications there has reached interview, offer or hire. If you have not, the form says so. You can write a new review for the same company once a year has passed; the form tells you the date. You choose a rating from 1 (Poor) to 5 (Excellent) and write a few words about your experience. Reviews are anonymous: your name is never shown, only what you enter. You can delete your own review.

What do the marks on a review mean?

  • Verified through LiveRec: our own record shows the reviewer applied to this company and the application reached interview, offer or hire.
  • Employee-attested: the reviewer said they were a current or former employee and their verified email matched the company's verified domain.
  • No mark: the review has not been checked either way. That is not a sign it is false.

To use the employee option your email must be verified, and the company must have verified its email domain. If the check fails you can still submit without it.

How do I ask a question?

Open the Q&A tab and choose Ask a question, then Post question. You choose how you are shown: Anonymous, My name (first name and last initial), or My current role. Questions can be sorted by answered first or waiting for an answer.
