What do the sign-up steps ask for?

LiveRec EditorialUpdated

After you create your account and choose Browse jobs for free or a plan, LiveRec walks you through a profile wizard of sign up steps. Step 1 needs a Full name. Every later step has Skip, so you can finish the rest later from Account settings. The more you fill in, the better your job matches and your résumé.

Good to know

  • Continue saves. Continue saves what you typed in that step, including an entry you filled in but did not add. Skip discards the step and moves on.
  • Step 1 résumé upload. The upload fills in your details automatically, which needs a plan that includes AI résumé analysis; if yours does not, the step offers an upgrade and Choose a different file. You can also skip the upload and type your details. See Resume AI features.
  • Job alerts. The switch in step 7 is the same setting as the job alert row in Notification settings, so you can turn it off there. See Notification settings.
  • Background check question. It records a preference only. Leaving it unanswered saves nothing.
  • Back and forward. Previous returns to the earlier step with your saved answers. If a step is refused you stay on it with the reasons shown.
  • Finishing later. Every field is editable under Account settings. See Complete your profile.
