How do I answer a company's request and sign an agreement?
Open Companies in the left-hand menu. Companies are the businesses that sent you a request, and the agreements you sign with them. Once you both sign, an agreement in force lets you post jobs and submit candidates, and it sets your placement fee.
How does it work?
- A company asks. New requests land on the Requests tab. Open one to see the roles and message.
- You answer. Accept it with your terms, or decline. Answer before the date shown in Answer by.
- You sign. The agreement appears on the Agreements tab. Read it in full, then sign. A row reading "Waiting for your signature" needs you. "Waiting for the company" means they sign next.
- You work together. The row reads "In force".
Other statuses are Request sent, Ending on a date, Ended, Declined by the company, Withdrawn and Deleted per policy. A deleted agreement has passed its 7-year retention.
What does an agreement contain?
The key terms are the fee (percentage of first-year pay, a flat fee per hire, an hourly rate or a monthly retainer), payment terms, notice period, exclusivity, any non-solicit period, contract type, start date and end date. When a newer version replaces an older one, the page shows what changed.
What is the Enquiries tab?
A company can write to you before deciding, from Find a recruiter. Enquiries shows one row per company with an unread count. Open it to read the thread and reply, up to 2,000 characters.
