What is NSQF (National Skills Qualifications Framework)?
The National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) organises skill and education qualifications in India by levels of knowledge, skills and responsibility, so that courses and certificates can be compared. It is regulated by NCVET. Job ads for skilled roles sometimes ask for an NSQF-aligned certificate. Check NCVET for the current level structure.
Example
A training certificate lists an NSQF level. An employer hiring technicians can read the level to judge the depth of the course instead of relying on the course name alone.
