Which one fits which use case?
- You want a free place to start and wide reach: Indeed states free posting (with limits) and distribution across a network of sites.
- You hire professionals and want a company profile presence: LinkedIn states that jobs appear on your company Page.
- You want to manage how candidates see you as an employer: Glassdoor's page centers on branding, reviews and analytics.
- You want your job shared across a board network and a resume database: Monster describes both, with the database tied to Pro plans.
- You want posting, interviews, offers and consent-based background checks in one place, with a registry-verified business badge: LiveRec describes these on its own pages.
How should a small employer choose?
- Write down the three things that matter most for this hire, such as reach, speed or trust.
- Mark which sites state those things on their own pages.
- Post one real role on two or three sites.
- Compare the applicants you actually receive, in the same time window.
- Keep only what you can review and respond to on time.
What do small employers often get wrong?
- Posting everywhere and responding slowly. Candidates notice delay.
- Choosing a site for features they never use.
- Forgetting data export and cancellation checks.
- Treating a company's own marketing statistics as independent proof. We do not repeat any user counts or ratings on this page.
