Vice President, Application Development Manager

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineerto join our controls hub team. This role is located in Pune.

• Leading the design and development of modern full-stack applications supporting sanctions screening and payment compliance workflows.
• Building scalable, real-time solutions capable of processing large transaction volumes while maintaining high availability and low latency.
• Partnering closely with Compliance, Financial Crimes, Product Management, Operations, and Architecture teams to deliver regulatory and business-critical capabilities.
• Developing microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures that integrate with enterprise payment and screening platforms.
• Driving modernization initiatives including cloud-native development, containerization, automation, and platform observability.
• Ensuring software quality through robust testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices.
• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Participating in architecture and design reviews, influencing strategic technology decisions across the Payments Enablement Platform.
• Supporting the delivery of solutions that satisfy regulatory obligations related to sanctions compliance and financial crime prevention.
• Evaluating emerging technologies and introducing innovations that improve operational efficiency and system resiliency.

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack development expertise.
• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as: Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Angular  Python (preferred)
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of database technologies including PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or NoSQL platforms.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
