We are seeking a Senior .NET Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade backend services on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. The role covers API services, Azure Functions, orchestrators, and partner connectors that power digital products, with growing exposure to AI/GenAI integration, Agentic AI, and Skills-based AI architectures. The candidate is also expected to engage directly with external partners (banks, distribution partners, third-party API providers) and present technical solutions through structured refinement sessions.
Position Details: Job Title: Senior .Net Backend Developer
Function/Department:Technology
Experience: 5–8 Years
Location: Hyderabad
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services and RESTful APIs using .NET 6 / .NET 8 (C#) and ASP.NET Core (multitargeted codebase).
- Build and maintain Azure Functions (HTTP, queue, timer, service bus triggers) and microservices following our Orchestrator + Connector pattern.
- Develop and consume internal NuGet SDKs to enforce shared standards across services.
- Build, deploy, and operate workloads on Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, API Management (APIM), Service Bus, Event Hubs, Event Grid, Cosmos DB, Azure Table Storage, Blob Storage, and Key Vault.
- Implement resilient HTTP integrations using Polly (retry/circuit-breaker), Flurl/HTTP Client, and well-defined contracts.
- Author and maintain OpenAPI/APIM specs for new and existing APIs.
- Implement structured logging and observability with Serilog (Console, AZURE EventHub, Periodic Batching sinks) and Application Insights.
- Build partner integration layers for banks, brokers, payment gateways, and distribution partners.
- Integrate AI/GenAI capabilities into backend workflows.
- Contribute to AI Agents and Skill-based AI components that orchestrate tools, APIs, and business workflows autonomously.
- Engage with external partners and integration vendors — gather integration requirements, walk through API contracts, troubleshoot connectivity, and drive joint technical alignment.
- Present technical solutions to business and technology stakeholders — produce solution decks, sequence diagrams, API specs, and lead solution-refinement sessions to converge on the final design.
- Ensure security, observability, and compliance (OAuth2/OIDC, Key Vault, Managed Identity, App Insights, Log Analytics).
- Collaborate with architects, BE Leads, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and uphold engineering best practices.

- Proven hands-on experience on Microsoft Azure — App Services, Functions, AKS, API Management (APIM), Service Bus, Event Hubs, Event Grid, Storage (Blob/Table), Key Vault.
• Strong working knowledge of NoSQL databases used in our stack:
- Azure Cosmos DB — data modelling, partitioning, indexing, RU optimization, change feed.
- Azure Table Storage — partition/row key design, query patterns, scalability.
- MongoDB — schema design, aggregation pipelines, indexing, replica sets.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, Orchestrator–Connector patterns, Domain-Driven Design, and event-driven design.
- Experience with HTTP resilience patterns using Polly (retry, circuit breaker, timeout) and structured client libraries.
- Observability with Serilog and Application Insights (custom telemetry, correlation, distributed tracing).
- Hands-on experience designing and consuming OpenAPI / APIM API specifications.
- Strong grasp of OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect, and API security.
- Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes / AKS.
- Partner-facing communication — proven ability to interact with external partners/vendors, lead joint technical discussions, and drive integration outcomes.
