As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Airport Traffic Control in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use clear communication and technology to document observations and respond to security-related concerns. • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or airport tenants while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, public areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report access-control issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders as required.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, airport operations personnel, and/or law enforcement regarding incidents and observations.

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
