Position Summary

The Instructional Coach will work with BCS staff to plan, coordinate, and conduct Boone County Schools' 2026–2027 Math Field Day program. The Coach will work with school staff and participating students to ensure county-level activities are organized effectively and that qualifying students are prepared for regional and state competition, as applicable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a timeline for the 2026–2027 Math Field Day program.
• Communicate rules, deadlines, eligibility requirements, and event information to participating schools and staff.
• Coordinate student registration, materials, testing, scoring, facilities, schedules, volunteers, and other event logistics.
• Organize and conduct the Boone County Math Field Day competition in accordance with applicable county, regional, and state guidelines.
• Coordinate Boone County participation in regional and state Math Field Day events, including required registrations and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely updates to the Assistant Superintendent or designee.
• Complete other Math Field Day-related duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of mathematics instruction and Math Field Day procedures is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, administrators, families, and event partners.
• Must meet all Boone County Schools employment requirements applicable to the assignment.
