• Plans, develops, coordinates, implements, and oversees daily, emergency, and routine maintenance and repair programs for all SCDC Facilities.
• Plans, video networks and designs and documents new video system installations.
• Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains SCDC camera systems, including analog and IP cameras.
• Conducts site assessments and coordinates, tracks, and closes out camera system installation and repairs.
• Remains current on new techniques, procedures, and equipment within the field. Recommends equipment purchases and assists with the installation of new equipment.
• Makes recommendations regarding agency maintenance policies and operating procedures.
• This position may require daily contact with inmates.

A high school diploma and experience in the construction or repair of secondary electrical systems.

• A high school diploma and a minimum of four (4) years of professional experience directly related to the areas of employment.

• An associate degree may be substituted for the required experience in the information technology or related field.
