Beginning Teacher Mentor for Fourth Grade

PRINCIPALS/DIRECTORS WILL POST IN OFFICE AREAS UPON RECEIPT.

DATE: August 25, 2026

POSITION: Beginning Teacher Mentorfor WCPC – Fourth Grade

CONTRACT: Extra-Curricular (for the remainder of the 2026-2027 School year)

An experienced teacher within the same content area and in the same school where the beginning teacher is assigned (whenever possible) and who shall serve as a mentor (upon employment) for the beginning teacher.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Oversee orientation program for beginning teacher.

1. Observe the beginning teacher as directed.

1. Hold meetings, as directed, between the mentor and beginning teacher.

1. Participate in the Beginning Teacher Mentor online activities as directed.

1. Submit required reports to the Principal.

SUPERVISOR: Building Principal, Building Assistant Principal

SALARY: $800
