What happens when I hit my application limit?
Basic allows 12 applications per month with at most 3 in any 7 days. Essential allows 30 per month, 8 per week. Professional is unlimited. At the limit, the apply screen says you have used your allowance and names the date it comes back, shown in UTC.
Steps
- Check the date shown on the limit message.
- To apply sooner, open Subscriptions & billing and choose Change plan.
Good to know
- The weekly limit is a rolling 7 days from your oldest counted application. The monthly count follows your billing period.
- Withdrawing does not restore an application: withdrawn applications still count toward the limit.
Limits by plan
| Plan | Per month | In any 7 days |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | 12 | 3 |
| Essential | 30 | 8 |
| Professional | Unlimited | Unlimited |
How the counting works
- The weekly limit is a rolling 7 days counted from your oldest counted application, not a fixed Monday-to-Sunday week.
- The monthly count follows your billing period, not the calendar month.
- Withdrawn applications still count.
- The message on the apply screen names the date your allowance comes back, shown in UTC.
Common questions
Why can I apply today but not tomorrow? The weekly limit looks at your last 7 days, so a busy few days can use your weekly allowance even if your monthly allowance is not used up.
