An employer invited me to apply. What do I do?

When an employer invited you to apply, it came through Live sourcing. Invitations appear under "You're invited to apply" on your Dashboard and at the top of the Applications page, and as a notification, "A company invited you to apply". Read the job and any note, then choose Apply or Decline. Declining is final for that job.

Steps

  1. Open Dashboard or Applications, or select the invitation notification, which opens the job.
  2. Read the job title, company, the note in quotes and the "Open until" date.
  3. Choose Apply, or Decline. Apply needs an active paid plan; without one you see a prompt with a See plans link. Some jobs ask screening questions first.

Good to know

  • Declining is final for that job: the employer cannot invite you to it again.
  • LiveRec does not reveal your contact details to employers through sourcing.
