How do I save a job as a template, duplicate or repost it?

LiveRec EditorialUpdated

From a job's row menu in Jobs, choose Save as template or Duplicate. Repost job is on the detail page of a live job. A template keeps the job's details, skills, screening questions and assessment. Duplicate opens a new draft titled "Copy of" the original.

Repost moves a live job back to the top of search results and keeps its applicants. Auto-repost does that for you on a schedule where your plan includes it.

Steps

  1. Save as template: in Jobs, open the job's row menu, choose Save as template, name it and choose Save template.
  2. New job from a template: choose Post a job, then on Create a job post pick Use a template or a previous job, select a row and choose Continue.
  3. Duplicate: in the row menu choose Duplicate, then edit and publish the draft.
  4. Repost: open a live job and choose Repost job, then confirm in the Repost job window.
  5. Auto-repost: under Subscriptions & billing, open Add-ons and use the Automatic repost row to set it up on a job. You can turn it off for any job.

Good to know

  • Repost keeps all applicants and history, and a job can be reposted again after a waiting period shown in the Repost job window.
  • Auto-repost reposts a live job every 5 days. Standard has none included (buy repost credits as an add-on) and Professional includes two a month.
  • You need permission to manage templates and to duplicate jobs; if a menu item is locked, ask your account owner.
