How do I read my affiliate earnings page?

LiveRec EditorialUpdated

Open Earnings in the affiliate portal. Every commission you have earned is one row with its status, and tabs split the rows by Candidate, Employer and Live recruiter. Commission is paid on the first payment only: 20% for a job seeker, 15% for an employer or Live Recruiter (capped at $500 per sale), plus 5% of sub-affiliates' earnings.

Steps

  1. Choose a tab, then set Date range (Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, This month, All time or Custom dates) and, if you like, Status. Custom days are counted on UTC time.
  2. Read the columns: Date, Referred user, Transaction, Rate, Commission and Status.
  3. Select a row's date to open Earning details: Commission, Transaction, Rate applied, Status, Earned on, Referred, Kind, and a Steps list showing what has happened and what comes next.
  4. Use the export option in the toolbar to download the rows as a CSV.
  5. Go to Payout (the Available tile links there) to request money. See Get paid.

Statuses

  • Pending: waiting out its hold, waiting for LiveRec to release it, or held while we check it.
  • Confirmed: the hold is over. Some of it may already be paid or in a payout request, so the Available tile is what is ready to request.
  • Clawed back: reversed after a refund or chargeback, for up to 60 days after you were paid.

How a commission is worked out

A row comes from the payment of a person you referred: the amount they paid, less sales tax, times your rate on that day, rounded down to the whole cent. The rate is kept with the row, so a later change never alters it. See How commissions work.

Edge cases

  • For each person you referred you see a first name and a status. You also see their email, only if they confirmed they are 18 or older when they signed up. You never see a phone number, resume or job applications.
  • One referral can earn more than one commission event, for example a refund adjustment.
  • If the Live recruiter tab says commissions are not open for your account, referrals from live recruiters are not counted or paid on your account at the moment.
  • Earnings are in US dollars.
