What is Premium Processing?
Premium processing is an optional USCIS service, requested on Form I-907 for an extra fee, under which USCIS commits to act on certain petitions within a set time. It speeds up the first decision, but not the approval itself. It is available for some forms only, so check USCIS for the current list and timelines.
Example
An employer changing an H-1B worker's job requests premium processing to get an answer sooner. The fee and the timeframe come from USCIS, not from LiveRec.
