What is Experience Letter?
An experience letter, or experience certificate, is a document from a past employer stating your designation, dates of service and sometimes your conduct or duties. Employers and background checkers ask for it. The Ministry of Labour and Employment's FAQ says a contract worker can ask the contractor concerned to issue one.
Example
A letter reads: "Ms A worked with us as Accounts Executive from 1 April 2022 to 31 May 2026." Check that your title and dates match your payslips and offer documents, because verification agencies compare them.
