The Niemanns Fresh Cut Clerk responsibilities include but are not limited to cutting fruits and vegetables, providing excellent customer service, gaining product knowledge, rotation of product, merchandising, and controlling shrink while working in a safe manner.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes and understand how to use Produce Production Sheet
- Cuts fresh produce to size and variety specifications
- Understands product quality standards
- Follows all Health Code guidelines
- Works within company programs, policies and procedures
- Follows all safety policies and procedures; is a safety role model
- Other duties as assigned
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Requirements
- Experience in volume production of culinary cold foods, preferably in Fruits & Vegetables.
- Culinary education a benefit.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and associates.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication), fractions and weights
