Newscast Director

WKRC is looking for a creative Director to join the Local 12 News team. The ideal candidate would have broadcast production experience and the ability to direct newscasts in fast paced environments.

• Perform any production duties as assigned including:
• Direct assigned newscasts and productions
• Collaborate with the production crew on a daily basis
• Maintain production studio and control room
• Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned, which may include editing

• Experience Directing newscasts
• Knowledge of production standards and equipment
• Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure
• Typing and good spelling skills necessary
• Ability to read and write, college degree preferred
• Must be able to lift & position 30-pound lighting instruments
