The Manager, IT Supply Chain Applications – Planning leads the team that builds and supports the applications behind WWT's supply chain planning function. The portfolio is a set of custom web applications that provide supply planning, available-to-promise (ATP), demand planning, and emerging production planning capabilities. Planners and operations teams work in these applications every day, and the decisions they drive carry directly into customer commitments.
This role is accountable for the delivery, quality, and operational health of that book of business, and for the growth and development of the business analysts, application developers, and architects who support it. The team works in an Agile delivery model alongside QA and partner delivery resources.
A successful candidate is a people leader first and a technologist second — someone who can coach a mixed team of analysts and engineers, hold them to a high delivery bar, and still engage credibly in conversations about planning logic, data models, and application architecture. This role partners closely with supply chain planning, materials management, operations, and peer IT leaders to turn planning problems into working software.
