Infant Lead Teacher

• Location: The Learning Experience - Upper West Side, New York, NY Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

• The Learning Experience - Upper West Side is hiring an Infant Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team!
• We're looking for a nurturing, dependable educator who understands the importance of responsive infant care and enjoys creating a safe, loving environment where babies can explore, develop, and thrive.
• What You'll Do

• Lead daily activities and routines in an Infant classroom
• Provide attentive, responsive care that supports each infant's individual needs
• Plan age-appropriate sensory, movement, music, and early learning experiences
• Support feeding, diapering, safe sleep, and daily care routines
• Observe developmental milestones and maintain required documentation
• Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families
• Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
• Follow applicable NYC childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education required
• Must meet applicable NYC qualifications for the assigned Infant Lead Teacher position
• Previous professional infant classroom or childcare experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of infant development, responsive caregiving, and safe sleep practices
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Patient, dependable, nurturing, and passionate about early childhood education
