Desktop Support Technician

Title: Desktop Support TechnicianLocation: Nashville, TN – 7.5 hrs DailyDuration: 12 Months – W2 Role

We are seeking an IT Deployment Team Member to support the delivery, installation, configuration, and deployment of laptops and IT equipment. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver, install, and configure computers
• Prepare workstations, peripherals, and software for deployment
• Maintain accurate records of equipment deployment and status
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site or remotely
• Follow safety procedures and best practices during deployment activities
• Communicate effectively with end users and team members
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of deployment storage areas
• Travel to different TDOT sites as required, including travel across the state of Tennessee (travel expenses will be reimbursed by state guidelines)

• Must be able to lift, push, and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods during deployments

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications a plus
• Prior experience in IT deployment, hardware installation, or similar role preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
