Associate Principal - SAP

Bristlecone India Limited seeks a visionary Lead - SAP-AI to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of AI-powered solutions within the S/4HANA Functional - Delivery department. The role blends deep Python programming expertise with advanced AI/ML and generative AI knowledge to create scalable, production‑ready services that address real‑world business challenges. You will work closely with functional consultants, data engineers, and business stakeholders to embed intelligent capabilities across SAP landscapes, while mentoring a growing AI practice.

• Lead design and architecture of AI solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA.
• Develop Python‑based machine learning and generative AI models for business processes.
• Build and maintain API‑driven services to expose AI capabilities within the SAP ecosystem.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into AI solutions.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and production readiness of AI components.
• Mentor and guide junior AI developers and data scientists.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Drive AI governance, model monitoring, and compliance within the SAP landscape.
• Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and evaluate their fit for SAP use cases.
• Contribute to pre‑sales and proposal activities showcasing AI capabilities.

• 8+ years of professional experience in Python development and AI/ML.
• Proven expertise in building and deploying AI models (ML, deep learning, generative AI) in production.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA functional modules and integration patterns.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands‑on knowledge of data pipelines, ETL, and data engineering concepts.
• Demonstrated leadership in cross‑functional project delivery.
• Proficiency with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn) and libraries.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with AI governance, model monitoring, and compliance standards.

• Understand and adhere to Information Security policies, guidelines and procedure, practice them for protection of organizational data and Information System.
• Take part in information security training and act while handling information.
• Report all suspected security and policy breach to InfoSec team or appropriate authority (CISO).
• Understand and adhere to the additional information security responsibilities as part of the assigned job role.
