Anthropology - 2026-27 Professional Track Faculty Pool

The Department of Anthropology seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/non-tenured positions to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses. Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding. Appointments are usually made on a semester-by-semester basis, though sometimes there is a departmental need for an annual appointment. Positions are renewable annually, contingent upon programmatic need, budgetary funding and performance.

A PhD in Anthropology or another relevant field and a record of teaching excellence are preferred.
