Description: Academic Interventionist

Provide services to 10th and 11th grade students in GEAR UP SWV

8 Days per month between October 2026 and May 2027

$200 per day up to 56 days. Job Summary:

1. Provide intervention services to identified students needing additional Instruction
2. Collaborate with core and support teachers, school principal, and county curriculum department to analyze student performance data and plan intervention strategies
3. Participate in and utilize professional development relevant to instructional delivery of a high quality standards-based program.
4. Implement and follow the county model in the delivery of instructional intervention strategies.
5. Submit required documents in a timely manner

1. A valid West Virginia Teaching Certificate
2. Minimum Five (5) years teaching experience
