What is Express Interest?
Express Interest is a one-off paid add-on per job you apply to, marking you as a priority applicant on that job. Priority apply is a feature of the Professional plan. It is charged per job, so buying it for one job does not cover your other applications.
What does the employer see?
The employer can filter a job's applicants by Express interest, and your card shows "Interest expressed" with the date. Express Interest applies to that one application and does not expire.
Steps
- On the apply screen, under "Want to increase your chances of getting noticed?", tick "Add express interest for this job". The label shows the current fee when your account has one.
- Submit your application. It is sent first; then the add-on is added, and you may be asked to pay for it in a purchase window. "Express interest added." confirms it.
- If your plan does not include the add-on, the screen says so and your application still stands.
Good to know
- If the add-on payment fails, your application is still submitted and you are told ("Your application was submitted. The express-interest add-on didn't go through.").
