What is Background Check?

A background check verifies information about a person, such as identity, criminal record or employment history. On LiveRec it runs only when an employer orders it and the candidate consents; LiveRec works with screening partners for US checks. Rules differ by country and by state, so what an employer may check depends on the role and the place.
