How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support customer operations by addressing technical issues and anticipating service needs
  • Read and work from electrical and mechanical drawings, instructions, and technical manuals
  • Complete internal transformer work such as bushing connections, lead clearance, tapping, crimping, taping, and contoured joints
  • Repair, re-gasket, assemble, and disassemble transformer equipment as directed
  • Operate and maintain vacuum oil processing and oil handling equipment with direction, including completing required logs
  • Coordinate logistics for service jobs, including tools, resources, and spare parts
  • Contribute ideas for product and process improvements that enhance operations and customer service
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Associate Degree with 2 years of professional work experience or High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of professional work experience

  • Familiarity with transformer installation and assembly, vacuum and oil processing, and internal transformer components
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel up to 85%
